Fantasy: related products coming soon?

We kind of hit on this topic before, and I'm wondering if it has gained ground. Would it be possible and feasible to integrate "related products based upon the user's query?" Certainly, the goal is to serve up what a user wants with their first query; offering similar products (when there is a match) or relevant products (when there is no match 'did you mean?') might improve sales by featuring products that are "off the beaten path."

It's off in the future. It involves vector spaces. It's something we are in the research phase for already. We have some ideas, just have to test it out and such :)
