Sloppy categories using non-standardized delimiters are annoying. Thus far, I have seen these delimiters being used by various merchants.
' > ' '>' '/' '[#]' ':' '::' ',' '-'
While one might be tempted to use the ampersand '&' as a delimiter, I find that it is (more often than not) being used as a conjunction between similar words, and not as a separator between dissimilar concepts, e.g., "Shampoo & Conditioner" ... NOT ... "Pets & Dogs & Cats & Mice" ...
So, my question is this: which characters have you seen being used as categorical delimiters?
Thanks!
