Hi Guys,

Just having a play around with some performance banners on my site.

Its pretty much 100% UK traffic

However the products been shown seem to always be US sites with $ prices.

How does the geotargeting work? Ideally i would only want sites to be shown that are UK based selling in ££'s.

Cheers

I think they said a while ago that their stats showed no real difference in conversions this way... but that might have been for the API only, not sure :)

We stopped geo targeting a while back because our tests showed that we made more by showing everyone u.s based products. Now, our system has evolved a long way since then. We are actually completely redoing performance ads right now for example. I think one thing we will be looking at again is showing country specific products when it makes sense to do so. For the api we will likely just allow you to specify the country since a lot of users don't send over a proper ip address with the requests.

Cheers Brian.

I thought that may be the case

Does the current API allow to choose the country/currency?

Scotch usually speeds up the process.
