We launched a bunch of new data endpoints today, and with those comes tons of new data. Some will have ideas right away for implementing the new data into their systems, others will create entirely new products around the data that we hadn't even thought about. I figured I would kick things off with some simple ideas to get everyone going though.

Take the commission endpoint as an example. With this, you can integrate reporting directly into your application. Take mfpmu as an example. Using this new endpoint, the developers, or a third party could display the earnings next to each domain in the admin side so you know which sites are performing without ever having to log into Prosperent.

For Trends, the possibilities are endless. Using geo targeting you could determine the location of a visitor to your site, then display products that others in their area have purchased. You are able to query by country, state, city, region, etc. This allows you to taylor your sites directly to each individual visitor.

Another example would be building a quick interface that tracks historical trends so you know which products and merchants to promote based on the season or an upcoming holiday.

Trends takes the guess work out of affiliate marketing. You now have access to the most powerful affiliate api on the planet. Use it!

For the merchant endpoint we are aiming for merchant specific metrics that can help influence decisions and give extra data that helps you build more powerful apps. For now, we have included logos, as well as the minimum and maximum payout percentage. This is the commission rate as calculated in realtime from actual merchant sales. In the future we would also like to start including things like conversion rates, and other merchant specific metrics that are valuable to our end users.
