What is Prosperent and how does it work?
Prosperent is a targeted behavioral ad network. We make affiliate marketing as simple as possible. Sign up, design an ad, place our ad code on your web sites, and let us handle the rest. We determine what your users are interested in, and we display affiliate products they are likely to purchase. When an item is purchased we pay you a commission. You can follow this url to view a video that explains in more detail the process of setting up and working with our ads: Prosperent Demo Video
What does TCPA stand for?
Targeted Cost Per Action. It's a fancy way of saying that we are involved in Affiliate Marketing.
What is CPA?
CPA or Cost Per Action is an affiliate marketing term. With CPA campaigns you are paid when someone completes an action. In our case, we pay you when someone clicks on an ad and makes a purchase. We fully honor cookies, so even if the person clicking your ad doesn't purchase the product today, you are still credited and paid a commission if they complete the purchase before the cookie expires (typically 30 days or more from the original click)
When are ads displayed?
Prosperent TCPA ads are only displayed when there is a higher chance that a visitor on a page will purchase a product. We currently GEO Target ads and display only to countries where we have products that can be purchased and shipped. We only display ads when a visitor has a valid search engine referrer, is from a country that we support, or has one of our behavioral cookies in place.
What is behavioral ad targeting?
Prosperent uses cookies to track clicks and sales that result from our ads. Because of this, we have technology in place which is able to look at a visitors past behavior which allows us to display more targeted ads in the future.
How large is your selection of products
Our current database contains over 50 million products from thousands of big name retailers. For a short list of our premium advertisers click here: http://prosperent.com/merchants
When will I get paid?
Prosperent pays out on a NET30 payment schedule, so commissions earned in January are paid at the end of February. Payments are typically sent on or before the 5th of the month.
What payment methods are supported by Prosperent?
Prosperent currently pays affiliates via Paypal or Payoneer.
What does Prosperent pay me for?
Prosperent is a CPA network meaning we Pay Per Action. An action in our case is typically a sale. When a sale is made through one of our ads you are paid at least 70 percent of the commission that results from that sale.
How much can I earn for a single commission?
With Prosperent there is no limit to the amount of money you are paid for a commission. If you sell high dollar items you have unlimited earnings potential.
What is the commission rate I am paid?
Since Prosperent works with thousands of online e-tailers, the commission rates vary from product to product. We are always working closely with our merchants to ensure the highest commissions possible for every sale our publishers make.
What percentage of overall revenue is paid out?
Prosperent maintains one of the highest percentage payouts in the industry with a base rate of at least 70 percent being paid to all publishers. Top performing publishers are given the opportunity to earn even more with higher rates being offered to those that show consistent earnings and traffic.
How many ad units can be placed on a page?
We currently display up to 5 ad units on a single page.
placement or integration restrictions for the ads?
No, because this is not a ppc network there is no risk placed on our merchants for accidental clicks. We encourage publishers to integrate our ads deeply into the content and layout of their pages.
What are fallback ad options?
Since Prosperent only displays ads to visitors that are likely to purchase a product we give our publishers the option of defining a "fallback" ad option that is displayed to all unqualified traffic. You may chose to display a solid color, an alternate ad from another ad network via pasting javascript into the input box, or you can define a generic product to display.
Why can't I see ads on my page?
Prosperent ads are designed to display ONLY when our system has determined that a visitor is likely to purchase a product. The ads are also GEO Targeted, so ads are only displayed in countries where we sell products. If you are not located in a country where we display Prosperent ads, or you would like to test to ensure that your ad code is working, you can use the following:
