Deep link to any page on a merchants site (including those without product feeds)

You asked, and we listened. You can now link to any page on a merchants site (including the home page). We created a simple to use api that anyone can use to quickly create links to any merchants page. Take a look:

    PHP Code:
    http://prosperent.com/api/linkaffiliator/redirect?apiKey=<YOUR API KEY>&url=<MERCHANT URL>
Replace the api key with your api key, and give it a merchant url. This will automatically create an affiliate url and redirect the person to the page you are deep linking to. If a merchant doesn't support deep linking, it will simply send them on to the url you supplied without turning it into an affiliate url.

Want to add an sid for tracking? simply add sid= to the url like so:

    PHP Code:
    http://prosperent.com/api/linkaffiliator/redirect?apiKey=<YOUR API KEY>&sid=MYSID&url=<MERCHANT URL>
Here is a working example for Zappos:
    PHP Code:
    http://prosperent.com/api/linkaffiliator/redirect?apiKey=640726f74f17fb5f7665665c2ccc74ee&url=http://www.zappos.com/d/shop-by-mens
    CLICK TO TRY IT

    Advanced users keep reading:

Let's say you want to spit back the url, or create a jsonp callback for use in your javascript. You can do that too. Simply change the url from redirect, to url like so:

    PHP Code:
    http://prosperent.com/api/linkaffiliator/url?apiKey=<YOUR API KEY>&url=<MERCHANT URL>
This returns a text link. Add any of the following parameters to change the format: format={text, json, jsonp}. Here is a jsonp example:

    PHP Code:
    http://prosperent.com/api/linkaffiliator/url?apiKey=<YOUR API KEY>&format=jsonp&url=<MERCHANT URL>
With jsonp you can also specify the name of the callback created by adding a callback parameter. It defaults to prospcb:

    PHP Code:
    http://prosperent.com/api/linkaffiliator/url?apiKey=<YOUR API KEY>&format=jsonp&callback=asdf&url=<MERCHANT URL>
Please leave feedback so we can further refine and improve this tool

Here is a CSV with all of the merchants that support this functionality at launch. Almost all merchants support this, and we are adding new merchants as I type this.

Fields in the csv: merchant, domain, datafeed, deepLinking, numProducts, active
    Attached Files

IMPORTANT: Do not forget to urlencode the url string before passing it to the url param. It is possible that the redirect will still work without urlencoding, but it may be missing required params that the merchant site may be expecting.

We will eventually have this data available in the merchant endpoint... when we can get around to it.
