One way to stand out from the crowd is to add more unique content to your sites. It has been shown time and time again that having unique product descriptions associated with your products leads to higher traffic levels. Of course, this can be difficult to do by hand. Who has the time?

That's where services like mechanical turk come into play. There, you can add tasks that workers from around the world complete in a very short period of time, the prices are low, and you can reject the result if the quality isn't up to par.

How would this work with the api? Well, as an example, you could track your top selling items, then submit those to mechanical turk. Create a simple mysql database on your end with 3 columns. An id, the catalogId or productId from Prosperent, and your new description. Anytime you load your api results on your site, you check to see if that productId or catalogId is present and you display your custom description. This way you can add as many or few custom descriptions as you like. See how they perform and add more if there is an increase in ROI that makes sense for you.
